Terms of Use

Please read the following terms of use before proceeding. The use of our services implies a continuing accept of the terms of use. ASK e-learning can update or add terms of use. In such cases any changes will be informed.

ASK e-learning or partners have copyright or distribution rights for all course content. Images and text borrowed from external sources are in their specific locations attributed to the owner of the content. Copying or distribution beyond downloadable content (where it is specified) is strictly prohibited. The content of external sources is chosen to enhance learning, and where the content is not likely to be changed. In any case, ASK e-learning does not control the content of external sources, and can therefore not be held responsible for their terms of use, content, or availability.

It is strictly prohibited to share course content to others.

You are responsible to complete the courses as instructed. You must evaluate if you have gained the expected knowledge from the course. Repeating the same tests and exams multiple times until you pass without repetition, is not advised, and is at your own risk. If you feel that you do not have the proper knowledge to responsibly answer the questions, redo the course content until you feel ready.

Course distributor/developer is not to be held responsible for any incidents or accidents related to a former learner’s lack of competence or knowledge.

As a course participant you have access to your assigned course for 60 days, unless any other agreement is arranged. The course must be completed within the period mentioned above.

a.       For courses requiring practical training (blended courses), we recommend that you start and complete the e-learning course within two weeks before the practical part, so that the theory is easier remembered. As a course participant you are responsible to bring confirmation for completed e-learning theory.

b.      Before you start the practical learning, the knowledge obtained through the e-learning course will be tested at the course center.

7. Privacy:

a.       In the process of ordering a course on our website and/or registering in our course portal, your personal information will be registered. Your personal information will be stored on our suppliers’ servers, and only used for necessary management and support for you as a course participant. Such management can be registering of address, full name, and date of birth to create course confirmation/certificates. Personal information can also be used to get in touch regarding technical issues or other support. ASK e-learning will only use personal information in the degree necessary to be able to offer our services. By using our services, you accept the management of your personal information to means mentioned above.

b.      ASK e-learning will have access to statistics of the e-learning process of the platform’s users and maintain the right to take actions based on suspicion of use that violates the terms of use.

c.       In cases where your use of the e-learning portal is administered by your employer or others in your organization who has the role of administrator, this person will also have access to personal information mentioned above. 

d.      You are responsible to make sure your personal information is valid, as this information is used to create course certificates and proof of completed e-learning courses.

e.       ASK e-learning shall not share personal information with third parties unless it is necessary for support or creation of certificates.

8. Accessibility:

a.       Courses are to be completed by yourself. To receive help from or provide help to others to complete the tests or exams is strictly prohibited.

b.      You are responsible to have read the information received via e-mail and practical information found in the courses. User errors which make you loose course progress so that you will have to complete units multiple times, cannot be blamed on the course distributor or developer, as long as these possible errors have been informed.

c.       Even if access to and use of the e-learning solutions from ASK e-learning based on our experience are technically stable, we cannot guarantee 100 % accessibility. ASK e-learning cannot be held economically responsible for short delays or inaccessibility.

d.      With solutions both with and without internet access, different platforms, devices and web browsers, instability or lacking/not functional content might occur on rare occasions. ASK e-learning is not to be held financially responsible for such instability, unless it makes the course participant not able to complete the e-learning course within a reasonable time frame. It is to be mentioned that ASK e-learning and our suppliers are working continuously on improving and testing to limit such issues.

Bruksvilkår

Vennligst les følgende vilkår før du går videre. Bruk av våre tjenester innebærer en vedvarende aksept av følgende vilkår. ASK eLearning vil kunne oppdatere eller tilføye vilkår, disse vil i så tilfelle bli informert om.

ASK eLearning eller aktuelle partnere har opphavsrett eller distribusjonsrett på alt av kursinnhold. Bilder og tekst lånt fra eksterne kilder er i sine respektive områder vist til i henhold til åndsverkloven. Kopiering eller videredistribusjon utover nedlastbart innhold (hvor spesifisert) i kursene er strengt forbudt. Eksterne kilder er utvalgt formålstjenlig for læring, og der innholdet lite sannsynlig vil endres. Uansett har ikke ASK eLearning kontroll over innholdet på eksterne kilder, og kan dermed ikke ansvarlig gjøres for retningslinjene deres for bruk, innholdet eller tilgjengeligheten til kilden.

Det er strengt forbudt å dele kursinnhold med andre.

Du er selv ansvarlig for å gjennomføre kursene slik som er instruert. Du må selv vurdere om du har fått forventet kunnskap fra kurset. Det å ta de samme testene og eksamenene gjentatte ganger til du består uten å repetere, er ikke anbefalt, og er på egen risiko. Dersom du føler du ikke har fått rikelig nok kunnskap for å kunne svare på spørsmålene på en ansvarlig måte, skal du gjenta kursinnholdet til du føler du er klar.

Kursdistributør/utvikler fraskriver seg alt ansvar for hendelser eller ulykker forårsaket av tidligere kursdeltakeres manglende kunnskap eller kompetanse.

Med mindre annet er avtalt, har du som kursdeltaker tilgang til kurset ditt i 60 dager. Kurset må fullføres innen nevnt periode.

a.       For kurs som krever praksis (kombinasjonskurs), anbefaler vi at du starter og fullfører e-læringskurset innen to uker før praksis, slik at teorien er friskt i minne. Du som kursdeltaker er ansvarlig for å medbringe bekreftelse for fullført e-læringsteori.

b.      Når du ankommer kurssenteret, vil kunnskapen fra e-læringskurset bli testet.

 

7. Personopplysninger:

a.       I forbindelse med bestilling av kurs, eller påmelding av kurs/registrering i kursportalen, vil personopplysninger om deg som kunde bli registrert. Personopplysningene blir lagret på tredjeparts server, og bare brukt til nødvendig behandling og support til deg som kursdeltaker. Slik behandling kan være registrering av adresse, fullt navn og fødselsdato for å opprette kursbevis/kursbekreftelse, samt bruke dine opplysninger for å komme i kontakt ved tekniske problemer eller support. ASK eLearning vil kun benytte personopplysninger i den utstrekning det er rimelig og nødvendig for å kunne tilby våre tjenester. Ved å bruke våre tjenester godtar du behandling av dine personopplysninger til ovennevnte formål.

b.      ASK eLearning vil ha innsyn i statistikker på e-læringsprosessen til brukerne av plattformen, og beholder retten til å utøve reaksjoner ved mistanke om bruk som strider med vilkårene.

c.       Dersom bruken din av e-læringsportalen blir administrert av arbeidsgiver eller andre i organisasjonen din med rollen som administrator, vil denne personen også ha tilgang til ovennevnte personopplysninger.

d.      Du har selv ansvar for at dine personopplysninger er korrekte, da disse blir brukt til utskriving av kursbevis og bevis for fullført e-læring.

e.       ASK eLearning skal ikke dele personopplysninger til tredjeparter, med mindre det er nødvendig for support eller utsteding av kursbevis.

8. Tilgjengelighet:

a.       Kursene skal fullføres av deg selv. Å motta hjelp fra, eller gi hjelp til andre for å fullføre testene eller eksamenene er strengt forbudt.

b.      Du er selv ansvarlig for å ha lest informasjon tilsendt på e-post og praktisk informasjon som finnes i kursene. Brukerfeil som gjør at du mister kursfremgang slik at du må gjennomføre innhold flere ganger, kan ikke klandres kursdistributør eller utvikler dersom mulige feil allerede er blitt informert om.

c.       Selv om tilgang til og bruk av ASK eLearning sine e-læringsløsninger erfaringsmessig er teknisk stabile, kan vi ikke garantere 100 % tilgjengelighet. ASK eLearning kan ikke holdes økonomisk ansvarlig for mindre forsinkelser eller utilgjengelighet.

d.      Med løsninger både med og uten internettilgang, ulike plattformer, enheter og nettlesere, kan ustabilitet og manglende/ikke fungerende innhold en sjelden gang forekomme. ASK eLearning er ikke erstatningsansvarlig for slik ustabilitet, med mindre det fører til at deltaker ikke får fullført e-læringskurset innen rimelig tid. Det skal nevnes at ASK eLearning og våre leverandører arbeider kontinuerlig med forbedringer og testing for å avgrense slike problemer.
